Taco not grande

I'm obsessed!!

I can't stop cooking in my Babycakes Cupcake Maker!!
These are one of my favorites!
I love how the shells become crispy.

Makes 8 tacos.

What you need:

1/2 cup ground beef
3 tbs chopped onion
Soft taco shells or soft tortilla shells
Ground cumin
Hot sauce
Garlic power
Salt and pepper
Cooking oil
Pie crust cutter- the one that comes with your Babycakes
A sharp knife
A frying pan

What you do:

Place your pie crust cutter on one of the soft taco shells. With a knife cut around the shell to make a circle. You may not need the knife to do so but it is easier if you do use one. With each shell your should get 2-3 circles.

Next brush all the tortilla circles with oil and place into the Babycakes cupcake maker. You do have to work a little harder in forming these shells and don't worry if they rip it won't affect the final product.

Cook for about 10 minutes- until slightly golden brown. Do not cook them all the way because you will have to finish cooking with the beef mixture and cheese and they can burn. I know - I've done it.
As these are cooking start chopping your onions and put in the pan and cook with the beef.

Add spices and seasonings - to taste. Cook until the beef is no longer pink. After the taco shells are done put a little of the beef mixture and some cheese on top (as much as you like).
Cook a few more minutes until the cheese has melted. Remove from your Babycakes cupcake maker.
Add some sour cream and salsa and enjoy!!

Happy snacking!!
