Cake pop update!

I LOVE my new cake pop machine!!!
I just finished the cake pops and they are sooooo good. And cute too.
I used the rest of the batter from this mornings donuts that I made. I am feeling a little under the weather so the last thing I wanted to do was make 4 dozen cake pops and have them just sit there with no one enjoying them. So I made a dozen just to play around. Not bad for my first attempt.

It's so easy to use. Just be careful not to over fill the wells. But since you are covering them with chocolate or a glaze don't worry about any mistakes or if you do have to trim some extra cake off the side. You won't see it.
I dipped my cake pops in melted chocolate chips. Regular melting chips would work better for they melt a little smoother I believe. I can't wait to really start using this and coming up with flavor combinations - like carrot cake with a cream cheese filling dipped in white chocolate or a lemon cake pop with raspberry filling (I LOVE the filling injector) dipped in a lemon glaze. It's endless!
Happy snacking!!

  1. Ooh, I'm jealous! I haven't been ale to find the cake pop maker anywhere. =(

The candy melts are way too thick. I tried them on the "old-school" method of cake pops. It was SOOOO hard and they kept coming off the stick.

Happy Birthday. Mine is this Tuesday..Hopefully I get one too hahaha
